Russian stocks may slightly rise backed by US futures growth
MOSCOW, Jan 22 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may slightly increase at the opening on Wednesday amid growth of the U.S. futures and negative dynamics of oil prices, analysts said.
“On the whole, the external background before the opening of our market is positive: the U.S. futures are adding around 0.5%. However, oil is losing 0.3%, but this fact will be ignored. So we expect the market to open with growth of 0.3–0.5%,” Alor Broker analyst Alexei Antonov said.
Investment company Solid analyst Vadim Kravchuk said he doesn’t expect the market to show significant growth at the opening amid reduction of oil prices and mixed dynamics of the Chinese stock exchanges.
